At our booth, we showcased ENAD — our AI-powered real-time diagnostic assistance software for upper and lower GI endoscopy.

Prof. Seong-Eun Kim (Ewha Womans University Medical Center Mokdong) delivered a lecture titled "AI in Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy," sharing key clinical evidence on ENAD.

In a multicenter randomized controlled trial, ENAD assistance raised the adenoma detection rate (ADR) from 36.1% to 52.3%, and the polyp detection rate (PDR) from 54.5% to 72.2%.

In gastroscopy, AI assistance reduced blind-spot rates to 21% and lesion miss rates to 6.1%, supporting consistent procedural quality across the upper and lower GI tract.

With colonoscopy being incorporated into Korea's national health screening program in 2028, demand is set to surge while the specialist supply remains constrained.

"AI endoscopy can serve as a tool to standardize and elevate examination quality," Prof. Kim noted, emphasizing the value of AI when integrated with the judgment of experienced endoscopists.

Ainex will continue to expand clinical evidence and real-world references so that ENAD can deliver tangible value across the global medical community.
