Ainex's AI Endoscopy Solution 'ENAD' Demonstrates Clinical Efficacy at International Conference

Jul.01.2026

Ainex Corporation (CEO: David Lee, hereinafter "Ainex") announced on July 1 that the clinical efficacy and real-world use cases of ENAD were presented at the 2026 Asian Organization for Crohn's and Colitis Congress and the International Meeting of Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (AOCC & IMKASID), jointly held at COEX in Seoul. ENAD is an AI-powered real-time diagnostic assistance software for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy developed by Ainex.

The conference was jointly organized by the Asian Organization for Crohn's and Colitis (AOCC) and the International Meeting of Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (IMKASID). Gastroenterology specialists and researchers from around the world attended the event to share the latest research outcomes and clinical experience in the fields of inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal diseases.

During the academic lecture session, Prof. Jonathan W. J. Lee of the Department of Gastroenterology at Singapore's National University Hospital (NUH) delivered a presentation titled "AI-Assisted Decision-Making in Early-Stage Colorectal Cancer: Current Applications and Future Directions." NUH is a hospital that has adopted ENAD into its actual clinical practice.

Prof. Lee stated, "Even when endoscopic examinations are performed, polyps can still be missed, and lesion detection rates vary depending on the specialist's skill level and physical condition," adding that "ENAD's 'real-time lesion detection' and 'lesion characterization' features contribute to colorectal cancer prevention by improving the Adenoma Detection Rate (ADR) and diagnostic accuracy." He further noted, "AI can play a crucial role in reducing variability in examination accuracy among endoscopists and enabling consistent examination quality."

David Lee, CEO of Ainex, remarked, "It is meaningful that clinicians from Singapore's NUH shared their clinical experience and the value of ENAD's real-world application on a Korean academic stage." He added, "We will continue to expand clinical collaborations with medical institutions at home and abroad, accumulate real-world data, and firmly establish ENAD as an AI solution that enhances the quality of endoscopic examinations."
