Ainex Corporation announced on the 16th that it has signed a supply agreement with Kwang Dong Hospital, operated by the Gasan Medical Foundation, to introduce its AI-powered gastrointestinal endoscopy diagnostic support software ENAD.
Founded in 1994 by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, Kwang Dong Hospital operates an integrated medical system that combines internal medicine, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and traditional Korean medicine, leveraging more than 30 years of clinical experience.
ENAD is an AI-based solution that automatically detects lesions during upper and lower GI endoscopy and displays them on the monitor. According to Ainex, it is particularly effective in identifying lesions where early detection is critical, such as early gastric cancer and adenomas.
A representative from Kwang Dong Hospital stated, “As demand for high-quality healthcare continues to rise in the era of longevity, we are actively adopting advanced medical systems powered by AI technology. With ENAD, we have significantly strengthened the accuracy of endoscopy and our capabilities in early cancer detection.”
David Lee, CEO of Ainex, added, “We are honored to supply ENAD to Kwang Dong Hospital, which has a long history of clinical excellence. Ainex will continue to focus on clinically driven technology development and real-world application, supporting medical professionals in delivering more accurate and reliable diagnoses.”
