Ainex Corporation (CEO David Lee, hereinafter “Ainex”), a medical AI (artificial intelligence) specialist, announced on the 3rd that it held the official launch event for its AI-based endoscopic diagnostic assistance solution, ENAD, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in collaboration with local medical device distributor Endosurgery.
The event was attended by about 40 gastroenterology and surgical specialists from Malaysia, as well as Professors Jeong-Sik Byeon of Asan Medical Center and Chul-Min Shin of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Both professors, who lead Ainex’s medical advisory and R&D efforts, delivered lectures under the theme “Clinical Applications and Future of Endoscopic AI”, sharing the latest research results and real-world clinical use cases.
Building on this event, Ainex plans to begin full-scale supply of ENAD to major hospitals in Malaysia. The company stated, “Having already obtained medical device approval from the Malaysian health authorities, we will gradually expand product distribution,” adding, “We will also run training programs for local medical professionals to accelerate the development of the endoscopic AI ecosystem.”
CEO David Lee said, “We were able to meet with Malaysian medical professionals directly and share ENAD’s technological strengths and clinical value. We will strive to ensure ENAD establishes itself as an innovative solution that drives real change in the Southeast Asian medical field.”
Ainex has already supplied ENAD to around 100 hospitals and clinics in Korea and is expanding its market to other key Asian countries, including Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
