Ainex Corporation, led by CEO David Lee, announced on the 3rd that its AI-powered diagnostic support software for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, ENAD, has received official medical device approval from Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
ENAD is a software solution that assists medical professionals during endoscopic procedures by detecting lesions in real time and visually highlighting suspicious areas on the screen. The solution is currently in use at over 100 medical institutions across South Korea.
Following the approval, Ainex signed supply agreements with several leading Singaporean hospitals, including the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and Changi General Hospital.
Since 2024, Ainex has been conducting joint clinical research with NUH to validate and further refine ENAD’s performance. NUH, as one of Singapore’s premier tertiary hospitals and a hub for medical technology research, played a key role in the regulatory approval process.
CEO David Lee stated, “ENAD is a software solution that enables standardized quality in endoscopic examinations regardless of the operator’s experience. This approval in Singapore serves as strong validation of ENAD’s technological capabilities and its global market potential.”
He added, “We will continue to collaborate with major medical institutions like NUH to further strengthen our presence in the Singaporean market.”
