Ainex Corporation (CEO David Lee), a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced that its AI-powered upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy diagnostic support software ENAD has been selected as a “World-Class Product of 2025.” Ainex received the official certificate at an award ceremony held on the 18th at Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil, Seoul.

The World-Class Product designation, jointly awarded by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), is a global competitiveness certification program designed to foster export-oriented companies capable of strengthening national competitiveness. The designation is granted to products and companies that rank within the top five globally and hold a market share of at least 5%. Selected companies are eligible for a wide range of export support benefits, including overseas marketing assistance, financial support, export consulting, and opportunities to participate in global exhibitions through KOTRA.

Ainex was selected in the Next-Generation World-Class Product category, based on its strong technological capabilities and rapid market expansion. ENAD obtained approval from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in July 2023 as an AI-based endoscopic image detection software (Class II medical device) and was supplied to more than 100 medical institutions in Korea within a short period of time.

Beginning with its first export to Vietnam in May 2024, ENAD has since secured medical device approvals in six overseas markets, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Colombia. Among these, Ainex has quickly achieved supply contracts in three countries, earning recognition for the effectiveness and practicality of its endoscopy AI solution compared with global competitors.

Industry observers note that these achievements represent actual commercial sales rather than pilot or demonstration projects, marking meaningful success from the company’s initial overseas expansion and underscoring the global competitiveness of Korea’s medical AI technology.
